Spring Activity Increases Near Denison Dam and the Red River Channels
Lake Texoma - Marshall, OK
The fishing on the north side of Lake Texoma is currently productive as we move further into the season. Lake texoma striper fishing trips are seeing consistent action, particularly during the early morning hours. We are finding schools of striped bass concentrated near the river channels and the flats surrounding the Denison Dam. Live bait has been the most effective method for landing quality fish, with several catches measuring in the 20 to 28-inch range.
For those interested in our lake texoma catfish guide services, the blue catfish bite remains steady. We are successfully utilizing jug lines in the shallower northern pockets where the water temperatures are warming faster. This is an excellent time for family fishing trips lake texoma groups because the catfish are active and providing plenty of engagement for younger anglers.
Water clarity is currently moderate, and the 2025-rebuilt Shearwater is performing perfectly, allowing us to reach the best spots quickly. Whether you are interested in morning striper fishing lake texoma or a late afternoon catfish session, the current conditions are ideal for a successful day on the water.
